Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy covers purchased coaching hours and flat-rate research and drafting engagements.
Coaching hours
Coaching hours are credited to your account when payment is confirmed and are tracked on your account page. Unused hours remain available on your account. Hours are personal to the purchasing account and are not transferable.
Rescheduling a session
Sessions can be rescheduled by text message to the phone number published on the home page. A session that is rescheduled before it begins does not consume an hour.
Research and drafting engagements
Research and drafting work is scoped in writing before it begins, including the question, deliverable, fee, and deadline. Two published guarantees apply to that work:
Authority Accuracy Guarantee. Every cited authority and quotation is checked against the source before delivery. If I deliver a nonexistent case or fabricated quotation, I will refund the project fee in full.
First-Draft Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not satisfied that the first draft meets the agreed scope and saves you meaningful time, notify me within seven days. I will revise it promptly at no charge. If you remain unsatisfied after the revision, I will refund the drafting fee.
No guarantee is made or implied as to the outcome of any matter, motion, or litigation.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. The time for funds to appear depends on your card issuer or bank. When a refund covers coaching hours, the corresponding hours are removed from your account balance.
Complimentary session
The complimentary 60-minute session requires no payment, so no refund applies to it.
