Privacy Policy

This policy describes how this website handles information. It applies to AI Coaching for Lawyers, operated by Wesley Higbee.

Information collected

  • Account information. If you create an account, an email address and an authentication record are stored. If you sign in with Google, Google provides the email address associated with the account you choose. Passwords are handled by the hosted authentication service and are never visible to me in readable form.
  • Coaching-hour records. When you purchase coaching, the site records the package purchased, the number of hours credited, and the hours remaining on your account.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe's checkout and are never received or stored by this site. This site receives a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the associated purchase identifiers.
  • Website and error data. The hosting platform records standard technical request data and application error reports used to keep the site working.
  • Messages you send. If you text the phone number listed on this site, your message and phone number are received through ordinary mobile carrier service.

How information is used

Information is used to create and secure your account, to deliver and track purchased coaching hours, to process payments, to respond to your inquiries, and to operate and troubleshoot the site. Information is not sold.

Service providers

This site relies on third-party providers to function: a hosting and application platform, a hosted database and authentication service, Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), and Stripe for payment processing. Each provider processes only the information needed to perform its function and handles that information under its own privacy terms.

Confidential client information

Please do not submit confidential client information through this website or by text message. Scope discussions for research and drafting engagements are handled directly with the hiring attorney.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information. Deleting an account removes access to any unused coaching-hour balance associated with it. Records required to document completed transactions may be retained by the payment processor independently of this site.

Contact

Privacy requests may be sent by text message to the phone number published on the home page.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the services or the site change. The current version is always the one posted here.
